Long Time Ago
1981, before the Western players were
born, well most of them anyway. That is
the last time the Matadors won a
conference title.
Not so long ago, September of this
season, AWC put a whuppin' on Snow in
Utah. Double Dang Ouch. Now Snow, the
other SC, the team with 400 plus wins is
in Yuma.
Did I read that right? 400+ wins? Here
is another Four (4) that SC wants. It's
4th straight WSFL Title.
There have been a lot of great games
this season and these two teams have
been in most of the biggest of them. So
if you happen to be in the area of Yuma
on Saturday, stop by and watch one of
the best college games in Arizona this
weekend.
Otherwise tune in to
www.aspnradio.com for the recap
8-Midnight or tune into 1010 AM.
Meanwhile, Back on the Farm
Glendale will be hosting Scottsdale in
the suburbs version of a street fight as
the Gauchos try to toss the Artichokes
like a bad salad. At stake? The Valley
of the Sun Bowl is the prize.
The rest, Mesa is in Tucson to play Pima
and Phoenix takes the long and winding
road into the SE to pick a fight with
the Monsters.

Polls
Currently the WSFL teams in the top 20

Eastern #16 NMMI. Getting votes
