#2 AWC, #8 Snow, #16 EAC
are all ranked in the NJCAA pre season
polls. Western stays at 2, Snow should move up
and EAC plays this coming week.

WSFL Action
Begins
WSFL
teams Snow and Western easily win their opening
games. Ok, so maybe Western was a
little sloppy but the heart of the Matadors RB
Reggie Bullock still put up 3 TD's and
managed to put up 167 yards on 22 carries.
Teammate Damien Williams ran 11 times for 74
yards and 2 TD's. Not to be forgotten, receiver Ge'shun Harris
and his 6 catches for 99 yards and a TD.
Monterrey Tech may have
exposed a flaw in the Western defense with two
first half touchdown passes. In the first
quarter QB Fransisco Gonzalez hit Arturo Rios on a 31 yard
strike. Then he hit him again in the second,
this time a 12 yard score.
The
only other score for Monterrey was the third quarter safety when Tech
tackled Western's Burnett.
The Matadors get a week to
prepare for their home opener when the Phoenix College Bears roar
into town on September 11th.
Snow 80 Colombia Basin 6. OK, so Snow can do
that to people. But what is a Colombia Basin???
