Attention High School Age Players!
If you are between the ages of 14-17 and
NOT playing high school football or if your charter school does
not play 11 man tackle football then this is for you!
This is Club Football and teams and
ownership groups are forming now. We will have a season that
begin in October of 2008. There will be teams in Northern and
Southern Arizona as well as around the Metro Phoenix area.
Players that are 14-17 are eligible with proof of age and
parental consent. A doctors physical will also be required. Team
rosters will be kept to a size that will allow maximum
participation and safety. We will have player applications
online soon.
We will be looking for coaches. If you are someone that wants to
coach in this age group or would like to gain experience to
expand your opportunities in the coaching world. This is for
you. We will have an application for coaches online soon.
Games will be played in rotating locations around the Valley and
in the North and South of AZ.
Video tapes of all the games will be available. Action photos of
every game will be available. Stats of every game will be
online.
PLUS - We will be broadcasting the hi-lites of games each week
on the AIR as part of the weekly Two hour sports show on 1010 AM
KXXT. This show is on Live NOW every Saturday from 8-10pm. Click

This is Club football and is a chance for kids that would
otherwise NOT have the chance to play high school football to
get in the game. Don't give up on the great of experience of
playing tackle football just because you are not on your schools
team or your school does not have a team.
This is going to be AWESOME!

Team ownership groups will have to meet the standards of the
AzFL Board of Advisors. Players and coaches in the AzFL are
encouraged to join in with the Junior AzFL and work toward
building their own coaching resume.

Teams Franchises have already applied for the communities of:
Tempe - Phoenix - El Mirage/Surprise
We will be building teams in each of the cities in the Metro
Phoenix area and some areas will have more than one team. There
will be City/Region Champions and a State Championship game. The
playoffs will follow the regular season. The entire season with
playoffs will be completed before Christmas.
